Life in a war-torn empire isn’t easy for a girl. That’s why Kira was raised and educated by her mother as a boy. But when her mother passes away, Kira is left to make her own way in the world, and the older she gets, the harder it is to maintain a masculine appearance. So when a magical being appears one night promising to grant any wish in return for a favor, Kira asks to be given a male voice. Now with a stronger disguise, she accepts a job as a page to a nobleman – and not just any nobleman, but the grand duke!
